Strike a pose with Santa in his dapper tartan suit and soak up the season in his pop-up workshop at The Grounds Coffee Factory!
Spots will fill quicker than Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve, so be sure to book ahead and secure your place now to make sure you don’t miss out.
Please also note that this experience will occur in The Tea Room which is located on the upper level of The Grounds Coffee Factory, accessible via two flights of stairs with no direct lift access. As such, we strongly recommend leaving prams at home for this experience. Each 2025 Santa Photo session includes 5-minutes with Santa to ask for your wish list, one (1) 6×8″ printed photograph and three (3) individual digital downloads selected by our photographers and shared via email within 24-hours. Please note, this is not a portrait session – it’s a quick, magical moment with Santa, so multiple poses and different family combinations won’t be possible. The images selected by our photographers will be the only ones provided, and no custom edits or extra photos will be available. Thanks for your understanding!
Usually, at the North Pole! For these photo sessions however, Santa can be found in The Tearoom at The Grounds Coffee Factory – when you arrive, follow the signs, or speak to one of our staff.

Each session can host up to six people. That’s everyone together in one magical moment – no swapping groups mid-session, so make sure you round up the crew!
Unfortunately we’re not able to accommodate pets in this particular space.
To spread the Christmas cheer fairly, there’s a limited of one session per group. Multiple bookings under the same name may be cancelled, so plan wisely!
Santa’s got a tight schedule, so please arrive on time. Late arrivals can’t be guaranteed a photo and refunds won’t be issued if you, or anyone in your group, misses your session.
The closest train stations are:
– Redfern: 2 minute walk
Direct access to the South Eveleigh precinct is available from the station’s south concourse.
– Waterloo: 10 minute walk
– Green Square: 15 – 20 minute walk
Buses stop regularly at Redfern station on Gibbons Street, and on nearby Henderson Road.
Route updates, timetables and travel information is available on the Transport for NSW website, or real-time travel apps.
Taxis and Rideshare (e.g. Uber, Ola, etc.) can drop off / pick up in the surrounding streets of the precinct.
Due to limited parking options in and around South Eveleigh, we encourage and recommend the use of public transport where possible.
The South Eveleigh precinct provides onsite customer parking with the Foundry car park. Car park entry is from 2 Central Avenue and is signposted. Grounds customers can use this car park when visiting The Coffee Factory or The Eveleigh.
Parking is free for 45 minutes. Customers of The Coffee Factory can validate their parking in-venue to get 2 hours free. For guests attending an event at The Eveleigh, parking is free when entering after 6pm.

Please note that street parking in and around South Eveleigh is extremely limited and in most areas, timed or restricted. We strongly encourage use of public transport, or if you intend to drive, please consider using the onsite car park.
Our photographer will select the best shots from your session. Each group will receive:
Santa works his magic, but the photos are curated by our photographer, so extra images, poses, or re-edits can’t be provided.
Refunds must be requested via Humanitix at least 72-hours before your session. After that, it’s too close to the big day – so sorry, no refunds will be issued!
Please be aware that refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.
The Grounds never likes to do the same thing twice – and Santa’s outfit this year is no exception! He’s swapped his classic red for a bold tartan twist, making this year’s photos a little unexpected and a lot of fun!
Please consider carefully before booking as refunds won’t be offered if you’re surprised by his stylish new look.
