OUR ADOPTION DAY WAS A HIT!

We hosted our very first pop-up Adoption Day on 8th July, to lend a helping any to all creatures great and small who needed to find a home

The day went off with a bang, with people crowding around our cute kittens, all here in the hopes of finding their new mums and dads. The amazing RSPCA NSW shelter staff were on hand to answer all your questions, and help the adoption process run smoothly for all the new families.

The response was overwhelming, and within just 2 hours we re-homed 6 kittens to their furr-ever home. This was beyond expectations for everyone at RSPCA NSW, with any kitten finding their home on the day being a win for everyone.

Thanks to Pet Barn at Alexandria, we were given some kitten accessories that the new parents could take home to ensure that their furry friends were well catered for.

Although some kittens were shy at first, they quickly realised what was happening and were soaking up the attention and cuddles in no time at all. No doubt if you were one of the lucky ones to witness the kittens in their play area, you would remember the straw being a wonderful and new experience which the kittens were lapping up.

Overall the day was a huge success, with 9 kittens finding their new families, and boy did some of them fit right in.

We can’t express how thrilled we are to be working with RSPCA NSW, who do amazing things for our furry (and sometimes not so furry) friends every single day. A charity so close to everyones hearts here at The Grounds, we are excited for things to come. Stay tuned for next school holidays, you never know what we will get up to.
