Our top picks for Mother’s Day presents in no particular order of greatness:
- What’s the most relaxing thing you can think of? How about a bath full of bath teabags and bath salts ($12.95 each or 3 for $30), along with a nice body scrub to match! No better way to feel special and to, in the words of Soul & Ark, ‘spoil yo self’ – we know your mum’s going to love it! They’re also giving away a gift with every $50 purchase, it just keeps getting better and better!
- For those health focused mum’s who love to splurge on Peanut Butter, Chunky Dave’s Peanut Butter is your go-to present. And if you want to add some heat, grab the Chilli version (4 pack for $36 original and chilli varieties). Of course, Chunky Dave’s suggestion for the day is peanut butter toast in bed, along with a Netflix subscription – Mum’s gotta be happy with that one!
- For those sushi loving mums, and we all know they’re out there, why not head to Kyandi and grab some Candy Sushi – the sweetest sushi she’ll ever have (small $6, Medium $10, Large $15), and it’s even got the ‘soy’ sauce (it’s really chocolate). With traditional Japanese gift wrapping available (an extra $2), mum’s sorted with the cutest present ever!
- We all know a mum who can’t keep their plants alive, but Another Town have terrariums (from $35) which are unique and fun, and also super easy to maintain and pretty much kill proof! Help mum get back into gardening by bring the garden indoors. Sure to relax and calm.
- An ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser ($69.95) from Living Vitality Australia, is a perfect gift for mum because it ticks all the boxes: health, beauty and happiness! It kills germs and can boost your immune system; it’s great for clear, healthy looking skin and can be used for an emotional uplift with an appropriate essential oil. And what’s their tip to spoil mum? Creating a candle-lit bathroom, (with their diffuser of course) and to see a lovely bubble bath scattered with petals, perhaps a glass of organic wine waiting for her along with her favourite book!
-
Why not spoil mum with Patti Moi designs beautiful hand printed linen napkins ($10.50 each) and matching place mats ($10.50 each). They are inspired by beauty of the Australian wildflowers using Eco-friendly fabric inks and if you buy multiple you get a discount. And their tip to make mum feel like a queen on the day? Breakfast in bed with, of course, their linen napkins to dress the table.
- For the mum who loves their pet? Head over to Craft Beer Bones and grab one of their hand-made polished concrete dog bowls so she’ll never have to replace it again, which also comes with a free packet of Craft Beer Bones ($80 for both, or $14 for just bones only). Craft Beer Bones has teamed up with the guys from 4Pines Brewery to recycle the barley spelt grain which would normally go into the bin, and put it into their yummy dog treats. If being environmentally conscious is top of your mum’s list (and why wouldn’t it be?) then this is a great present. Their tip for a great Mother’s Day? Champagne with strawberries, or oranges for something different!
- Archon Designs has all your pampering needs sorted with their ”Botanical” 500mL Hand & Body Wash ($35) along with a range of other products including their “Botanical” 250mL Hand & Body Balm ($20), Organic Clay Face Mask ($10) & Organic Lip Scrub ($8). And if you’re looking for a more personal gift to share with mum, create an at home spa and make her feel relaxed all in the comfort of her own home!
- What about those Mum’s who loves a good tea? Yep! We’ve got something for them as well. You. Me. Happy. has a Women’s Wellbeing loose leaf tea ($12.50) and they suggest partnering with a Hand Made Concrete Candle ($49.95) to really relax mum on the day. But their tip for the day? Bring the family together and give mum the day off from cooking or go ahead and give her the day off from everything! Mum will love it and you’ll be the favourite child for sure.
- A Mother’s Day Tea towel ($15 each or 2 for $20) from Duck & Weave, but of course they think that the best Mother’s Day present would be for her to not have to use this on the day!
- Your Move Online is offering an all in one gift pack so no need to think! A range of products to be able to make your mum a fresh cup of coffee, light a candle and give her a relaxing foot massage while she snacks on chocolate. Not only do you get everything in one pack, but all products are from social enterprises so she can feel good about being spoilt!
- Maya Sunny Honey has the sweet mums sorted with delicious Honey in beautiful packaging (3 pack $42). And what’s better for sweet mum’s than breakfast in bed with pancakes and some honey drizzled on top. Mmm we can taste it now!
-

And their top tip to celebrate mum? Sneak into her bedroom with a big flower bouquet before she wakes up and sing a song which comes straight from your heart. Nothing better than a present you create yourself.
-
What about those dad’s who have taken a mum role? Or you just love celebrating dad twice a year? The Mister Brand Face Moisturiser (normally $30.00, $25 @ The Grounds Fair) to keep her (or his) skin hydrated throughout the winter months. Being all natural means there’s no nasties to worry about. And a very unique present The Mister Brand suggests? Home made vouchers! Which mum doesn’t want to be pampered or taken care of, and have the ability to choose when? Put your own twist on them, she’ll love the thought and creativity, and it doesn’t cost a thing!
And what do we at The Grounds suggest?
- We’ve got some great new coffee tins ($17 including a bag of seasonal blend coffee) which have only just come in, spoil the mum who loves her coffee with a beautiful tin to store it in. Will take pride of place on any bench.
- Or perhaps for the mum who likes cakes, come and grab some pastries, because what’s a trip to The Grounds without grabbing a few sweet treats.
- But for those who are looking for something exceptional, we still have a few tickets left to our Mother’s Day Dinner in The Atrium – a beautiful candle-lit setting with a delicious feast where we spoil mum with flower crown, gifts and the time with her loved ones.
