TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This promotion is run by The Grounds of Alexandria (Trading) Pty Ltd (ABN 38 625 114 132) (Promoter), located at 7a/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015. By entering, each entrant (via their parent or legal guardian) agrees to these Terms and Conditions. Entry is open to children aged 12 years and under who are residents of Australia. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  2. The competition opens on Friday, 27 March 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (AEDT) on Sunday, 19 April 2026 (Promotional Period). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
  3. To enter, participants must: a) Complete the official colouring-in sheet provided by the Promoter on the back of the Kids’ Menu, available at The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe or The Potting Shed; b) Clearly provide the child’s name and age, and the parent or legal guardian’s full name and contact phone number; c) Include the signature of a parent or legal guardian aged 18 years or over, who confirms they are authorised to act on behalf of the entrant; and d) Submit the completed entry in person at the designated entry box located in the laneways at The Grounds of Alexandria. Access to the entry box is reserved exclusively for guests who have dined in The Cafe or The Potting Shed and is permitted upon presentation of a same-day receipt from their meal.
  4. Limit of one (1) entry per child unless otherwise stated. Entries must be the original work of the child. Incomplete, unsigned, illegible, or damaged entries may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries once submitted.
  5. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. All valid entries will be judged on creativity, originality, and overall presentation. Judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises within five (5) business days of the competition closing. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. There will be two (2) winners: one major prize winner, who will receive an 80cm Milk Chocolate Easter Egg, and one runner-up prize winner, who will receive a 30cm Milk Chocolate Easter Egg. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes will be delivered or made available for collection as determined by the Promoter.
  7. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided by the parent or legal guardian within seven (7) days of judging. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within five (5) business days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner.
  8. By entering, the parent or legal guardian: a) Consents to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information (including name, phone number, and address) for administering this competition and delivering prizes; and b) Grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use the child’s first name, age, and submitted artwork for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without additional compensation.
  9. All physical entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
  10. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the competition or any prize, and is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the competition where reasonably necessary.

Mandatories: Open to Australian children aged 12 years and under. Opens 27/03/2026 and closes 11:59pm (AEST) on 19/04/2026. Entries must be signed and submitted by a parent or legal guardian aged 18+ years. By entering, parents consent to their child’s name, age and artwork being used for promotional purposes.
