TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This promotion is run by The Grounds of Alexandria (Trading) Pty Ltd (ABN 38 625 114 132) (Promoter), located at 7a/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015.
  2. By entering, each entrant (via their parent of legal guardian) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entry is open to children aged 12 years and under who are residents of Australia. Entries must be submitted on behalf of the child by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  4. The competition opens at 9:00am (AEST) on Saturday, 25 April 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on Sunday, 10 May 2026 (Promotional Period). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
  5. To enter, participants must: a) Complete the official The Sheep Detectives colouring-in sheet provided by the Promoter with the purchase of a kids meal from The Grounds of Alexandria Garden BBQ; b) Clearly provide the child’s name and age, and the parent or legal guardian’s full name and contact phone number; c) Include the signature of a parent or legal guardian aged 18 years or over, confirming they are authorised to act on behalf of the entrant; and d) Submit the completed entry in person at the designated entry box located at The Garden BBQ counter at The Grounds of Alexandria.
  6. Limit of one (1) entry per child. Entries must be the original work of the child. Incomplete, unsigned, illegible, or damaged entries may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, late, misplaced, or damaged entries.
  7. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. A permit is not required under the relevant legislation in New South Wales.
  8. All valid entries will be judged on creativity, originality, and overall presentation.
  9. Judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises within five (5) business days of the competition closing. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. There will be three (3) winners. Each winner will receive one (1) in-season family pass for four (4) people to see The Sheep Detectives in cinemas, valued at up to AUD$112.
  11. The Promoter does not guarantee the duration of theatrical release of The Sheep Detectives or the availability of cinema sessions at any specific location or time. Screening availability is subject to participating cinema schedules and may vary by location.
  12. The Promoter is not responsible for the scheduling, duration, or availability of screenings of The Sheep Detectives, which are determined by participating cinemas and may change or cease without notice.
  13. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
  14. Prizes will be issued either digitally or made available for collection, as determined by the Promoter. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize (including travel to and from the cinema) are the responsibility of each winner.
  15. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided by the parent or legal guardian within seven (7) days of judging.
  16. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within five (5) business days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement winner based on the original judging criteria within five (5) business days.
  17. The Promoter may publish the winners’ first names and ages on its website and social media channels.
  18. By entering, the parent or legal guardian: a) Grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, and communicate the child’s submitted artwork, first name, and age for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without additional compensation; b) Consents to the Promoter editing, adapting, or modifying the artwork; and c) To the extent permitted by law, waives (and agrees to procure the waiver of) any moral rights in the artwork.
  19. All physical entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.
  20. By entering, the parent or legal guardian consents to the Promoter collecting and using personal information (including name and contact details) for the purposes of administering this competition and delivering prizes.
  21. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at https://thegrounds.com.au/privacy-policy/. The Promoter may disclose personal information to third parties where reasonably necessary for the administration of the competition.
  22. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered or incurred (including indirect or consequential loss) arising in connection with the competition or any prize.
  23. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  25. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the competition where reasonably necessary, including where the competition cannot be conducted as planned due to technical issues, unauthorised intervention, or any event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control

Mandatories: Open to Australian children aged 12 years and under. Opens 25/04/2026 and closes 11:59pm (AEST) on 10/05/2026. Entries must be signed and submitted by a parent or legal guardian aged 18+ years. By entering, parents consent to their child’s name, age and artwork being used for promotional purposes.
