Reservations at The Coffee Factory are in high demand, particularly during busy periods, and we want to ensure that customers who have made a booking turn up, or provide us with enough notice of cancellation so that we can offer the table to someone else.
When booking, you will receive a link to attach your card details to your reservation. Your booking is not considered confirmed until you have completed this step. Your card details are securely held with your booking and are not identifiable by any of our staff. Your card will only be charged in the event of no-show or last-minute cancellation as per venue policy.
Valid credit card details are required to secure all reservations.
We know that plans can change, though we ask that any cancellations be made no less than 2 hours prior to your booking time. Cancellations made within this time, or failure to show up for your booking without notice, will incur an automatic charge of $30 per person.
Groups of 8 or more: 24 hour notice must be given to reduce party size or for cancellation. Cancellations made or reducing party size within this time frame or failure to show up for your booking will incur an automatic charge of $30 per person.
The following surcharges may apply:
– 1.5% transaction fee applies for all card transactions.
– 5% surcharge applies on weekends (excludes groups of 10 or more).
– 10% service charge applies for groups of 10 or more adults.
– $3 per person cakeage charge applies to external cales.
The closest train stations are:
– Redfern: 5 minute walk
Direct access to the South Eveleigh precinct is available from the station’s south concourse.
– Waterloo: 10 minute walk
– Green Square: 15 – 20 minute walk
Buses stop regularly at Redfern station on Gibbons Street, and on nearby Henderson Road.
Route updates, timetables and travel information is available on the Transport for NSW website, or real-time travel apps.
Taxis and Rideshare (e.g. Uber, Ola, etc.) can drop off / pick up in the surrounding streets of the precinct.
Due to limited parking options in and around South Eveleigh, we encourage and recommend the use of public transport where possible.
The South Eveleigh precinct provides onsite customer parking with the Foundry car park. Car park entry is from 2 Central Avenue and is signposted. Grounds customers can use this car park when visiting The Coffee Factory or The Eveleigh.
Parking is free for 2 hours, after which parking rates apply. For guests attending an event at The Eveleigh, parking is free when entering after 6pm.

Please note that street parking in and around South Eveleigh is extremely limited and in most areas, timed or restricted. We strongly encourage use of public transport, or if you intend to drive, please consider using the onsite car park.
Due to its unique floor plan and seating arrangement, The Coffee Factory can accommodate up to 16 guests in a single reservation. For larger groups, please consider separate reservations or make an enquiry for a private function with our Events team.
Reservations for 1 – 3 people can be made for bar seating on request. Full dine-in meal service is still available at the bar.
We weren’t kidding when we say great ideas are created over coffee. The Coffee Factory has a small workspace on the first floor with power points and venue wifi, open for any customer to use – whether it’s for work or getting creative.
If you’d like to sit and work for a while, just ask our staff on arrival.
Please note these spots are available on a first-come first-served basis. We do not accept bookings for this space and cannot always guarantee availability.
The Coffee Factory is a fully licensed venue with alcoholic beverages available for purchase after 10am. We are not a BYO venue.
External cakes and desserts are allowed; a $3 per person cakeage fee will apply. The cakeage charge is waived for any cakes pre-ordered through The Grounds Catering.
