Date Night Package
Make an elegant, romantic occasion of your date night with a romantic table setting at The Grounds of the City, complete with a candlestick and a beautiful red rose which you can keep at the end of your meal! Simply purchase this add-on when making your reservation online.
Date Night upgrade is $7.50 per person, payable at time of booking.

Nothing specific – there are no stuffy set menus here. You can order whatever you like from our regular à la carte menu, or choose our 3-course feast on the night. It’s Valentine’s Day, your way.
Absolutely! Whether you want to pick your favourites or let us treat you to the full 3-course experience, it’s completely up to you.
Our Date Night package is an optional add-on to your booking, and includes a blooming rose and elegant taper candle to add a touch of romance to the occasion. To purchase, simply select it as an add-on while making your reservation.
The Date Night package is $7.50 per person, payable at the time of booking.
Walk-ins are welcome, but we strongly recommend making a reservation to avoid the heartbreak of missing out.

Our regular à la carte menu has plenty of options to suit different dietary needs. Please note that not all ingredients are listed and items may change without notice, so let you server know of any allergies or requirements before ordering. While we make every effort, we cannot guarantee allergen-free food as our kitchen handles nuts, shellfish, gluten, and eggs.
Yes, tables are reserved for 1 hour and 15 minutes – plenty of time to enjoy your delicious date night meal.
No problem! You can cancel or change your reservation up to 2 hours prior to your booking. No-shows or cancellations within 2 hours will incur a $30 per person fee. Please contact us on (02) 9699 2225 for assistance.
Gifts and flowers are welcome! External food and drinks aren’t permitted, but our menu has plenty of delicious options. If you’d like to bring a cake, please be aware that a $3 per person cakeage fee applies.
Yes, just a few things: a 1.5% credit card fee applies, a 10% service fee applies for groups of 10 or more, a 5% weekend surcharge applies (excluding groups of 10 or more), and a 15% public holiday surcharge applies.
