Indulge in a lavish high tea experience, where you and your guests can enjoy a delightful array of sweet and savoury treats in your own private space at The Grounds of Alexandria. Overlooking our bustling patisserie, you’ll witness our skilled team busy baking fresh bread, cakes, and other delicious treats, filling the air with the irresistible aroma of freshly made treats.
This beautifully styled setting–adorned with bright florals, flickering candles, and elegant tableware–creates the perfect backdrop for relaxing and unwinding with with your nearest and dearest. Your booking includes a fully styled high tea table setting in a private dining room, where each guest will receive a delectable high tea set menu featuring a selection of treats and a complimentary tea, coffee, or juice for each person. Additional drinks available for purchase on the day.

This high tea experience takes place in The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe (7a / 2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015). Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your session.
Due to limited onsite parking, we recommend using public transport where possible, or allowing extra time when driving in case of heavy traffic.
Tickets are available for $89 each (+ booking fees). Please note that a minimum of 9 tickets must be purchased for each session. If you are booking for a group of 18 or larger, please contact reception.
Reservations are for 90 minutes. This event has a fixed menu and styling, which may change. Custom styling and external decorations are not allowed. Wedding ceremonies are also prohibited; contact our Events Team for bespoke styling and custom events. Unauthorised styling or weddings may result in removal. Card payments have a 1.5% processing fee. Groups of 10+ incur a 10% service fee. A 5% weekend and a 15% public holiday surcharge will also apply. A $3pp fee will apply for all external cakes.
Modify or cancel for a refund up until 7 days before the reservation. Changes can be made online through OpenTable until that time. No-shows and cancellations after this time will forfeit your payment. Modifications may also forfeit payment.
Our high tea set menu can be adjusted to accommodate vegetarian dietary restrictions. Unfortunately we cannot make other changes to the high tea menu, however we can arrange an alternative – please contact our reception team prior to booking.
Menu and styling may change without notice. Food is prepared in a kitchen with nuts, shellfish, gluten and eggs; allergen-free meals can’t be guaranteed. Candles, flowers and tableware must stay onsite; charges may apply. Custom styling, external decorations and wedding ceremonies are not permitted. Unauthorised styling or weddings may result in removal. Alcohol is available for purchase after 10am and requires a valid photo ID.

Taxis and Rideshare (e.g. Uber, Ola, etc.) can drop off / pick up on Huntley Street.
Set the destination as The Grounds of Alexandria, or our street address (7a/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015).
Due to limited parking options in and around Alexandria, we encourage and recommend the use of public transport where possible.
Onsite parking is first come first served, meaning availability is not guaranteed, particularly on weekends and during holiday periods – please allow extra time if you are driving, or consider public transport options.
To access our onsite car park, enter via 2 Huntley Street (behind our Cafe).
Please note a 2 hour time limit is temporarily in place for parking during the day.
Street parking in the surrounding area can generally be found within a 10-15 minute walk.
Good places to check are:

• Maddox Street
Several pre-paid parking facilities can be found within a 10 minute walk of The Grounds, including at Sydney Corporate Park (entrance via Doody Street) and on Bourke Road.
