THE GROUNDS Garden 2026 wedding COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The promoter is The Grounds of Alexandria (Trading) Pty Ltd (ABN 38 625 114 132) of 7a/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015 (“Promoter”). By entering, each Entrant (‘Entrant’) gives to these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry is open to residents of New South Wales, aged 18 years and over at the time of entry.
- Only new wedding event bookings in The Garden in June, July, or August in 2026 or 2027 will be eligible. Events that are already booked, contracted, postponed, or rescheduled are strictly ineligible.
- Only the primary contact on the event booking is permitted to enter. Limit: one entry per booking.
- Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
- To qualify for entry into the competition:
- Purchase a ticket to the 2026 March Wedding Showcase held at The Grounds of Alexandria on Wednesday, 4 March 2026; and
- Secure a new wedding event in The Garden on a date in 2026 or 2027 by:
- Signing an event contract; and
- Paying the required event deposit on or before 5:00pm AEDT on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.
- Each qualifying action equals one valid entry into the draw.
- Two (2) winners will each receive a AUD$2,500 credit to be applied toward a winter wedding in The Garden in 2026 or 2027. The total prize pool is valued at up to AUD$5,000.
- Prize credits are applied as the final amount deducted from the total event invoice.
- If the total event value is less than the prize amount, the event will be considered paid in full, and no refund or residual credit will be issued.
- Prize credits are not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not applicable to any other venue or event.
- If the winning booking is cancelled or postponed, the prize is automatically forfeited, with no compensation or substitution.
- This competition is a game of chance. No skill plays a part in determining the winners.
- The draw will take place at 11:00am AEST on Wednesday, 8 April 2026 at The Grounds of Alexandria, 7a/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015.
- Winners will be randomly selected via a digitally generated draw, overseen by a representative of the Promoter.
- Winners will be notified via phone and email and published on the competition page at https://thegrounds.com.au/the-grounds-garden-2026-wedding-showcase-competition-terms-and-conditions/ by 5:00pm AEST on Friday, 10 April 2026.
- If a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to accept the prize, a redraw will occur at 11:00am AEST on Wednesday, 22 April 2026 at the same location.
- Redraw winners will be notified and published in the same manner.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify the competition, including the draw process or prizes, due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, acts of government, or any event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
- In the event of a dispute, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Any dispute arising from or in connection with this competition shall be governed by the laws of New South Wales, and the parties submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
- Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy policy (https://thegrounds.com.au/privacy-policy/) and used solely for the administration of this promotion and future communications, where consent is provided.
- Entry into this promotion confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The promotion is conducted in accordance with NSW Fair Trading’s Trade Promotion Lottery Guidelines.
- Participation in this competition is subject to the Promoter’s standard Event Terms and Conditions, available at thegrounds.com.au/events.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
