Promoter: The Grounds CBD Pty Ltd (ABN: 75 625 113 920) of 7A/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015.
Promotional Period Starts: 7:00am (AEDT) on Friday, 1 November 2024.
Promotional Period Ends: 11:59pm (AEDT) on Friday, 29 November 2024.
Eligibility: Entrants must be 18 years old or over.
Number of Entries Per Person: Only one entry is permitted per person.
How to Enter: To enter the competition, people who visit The Grounds of The City and order the Shaken Carajillo 43 cocktail, must scan the QR code on their coaster and complete the online entry form as instructed on the website. Accessing the promotional website may incur charges based on the entrant’s Internet Service Provider.
Prize: Five prize winners will each receive: 1x Licor 43 prize pack containing one (1) 700ml bottle of Licor 43; 1x Licor 43 Balon glass; 1x Licor 43 stirring stick; and 1x Licor 43 keep cup, valued at AUD$100.00. The total prize pool is valued at up to AUD$500.00.
Selection of Winners: Five winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries. This is a game of chance, and skill does not influence the selection of the winners.
Draw Time and Place: 12:00pm (AEDT) on Monday, 2 December 2024 at The Grounds of Alexandria, located at 7A/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW 2015.
Winner Publication: Each winner’s first initial, surname and postcode will be published online at: https://www.thegrounds.com.au/licor-43.
1. The above Particulars, entry instructions, and prize information are part of the entry terms. By entering the Promotion, you accept these terms and conditions. In case of any discrepancy between these terms and any other information about this Promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
2. Entry is open to all individuals who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Particulars, except for directors, contractors, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and companies, suppliers, and agencies associated with the Promotion, including any prize providers. Eligibility requirements must be met at the time of entry and when the prize winners are determined.
3. The Promotion opens and closes as specified in the Particulars (Promotion Period). Entries must be received by the Promoter within the Promotion Period.
4. All entries are considered received when they are received by the Promoter, not when they are sent by the entrant.
5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, misdirected, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, or corrupted entries, or for delays in the delivery of entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion, or any other reasons.

7. Entrants are fully responsible for their entry content and must ensure their entry complies with these terms and conditions.
8. Entrants must not: a) Tamper with the entry process; b) Engage in any unlawful or improper misconduct intended to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion; c) Submit an entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions; d) Use a third party (including online competition entry sites) to enter on their behalf, except where the entrant requires third-party services due to a disability; or e) Engage in conduct during entry that, in the opinion of the Promoter, is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. Any entrant found to have breached these terms and conditions will be disqualified, all their entries invalidated, and any prize claims invalidated. If a prize has already been awarded, the entrant must immediately return the prize to the Promoter.
9. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if an entrant has breached these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to request any documentation it deems necessary to confirm or deny its suspicions. Failure to provide such documentation upon request gives the Promoter the right to disqualify the entrant. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender are reserved.
10. Only one entry is allowed per person.
11. The winners will be the first five valid entries, submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions, that are randomly drawn as the winning entries as specified in the Particulars.
12. If a prize draw is scheduled for a public holiday, it will be conducted on the following business day.
13. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decisions related to the Promotion will be entered into.
14. The winners will be notified by telephone or email within two days of the prize draw. Their first initial, surname, and postcode will be published on this webpage approximately 24 hours after the draw and will remain on the website for at least 30 days.
15. The prize will be awarded to the people named in the winning entries. However, in the case of a dispute, the prize will be awarded to the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit the entry (e.g., the mobile phone account holder).
16. The Promoter may request that a winner provides proof of identity, proof of age, or proof of residency to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction before awarding the prize. If upon request, a winner does not provide proof of identity, proof of age, or proof of residency to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction within 7 days of being selected as a winner, then that winner may be deemed to have forfeited the prize and a new winner will be drawn.

18. Unless otherwise stated, prize values are based on the recommended retail prices at the time of the first publication of these terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value between now and the prize redemption date.
19. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise from accepting the prize.
20. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
21. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. It is the responsibility of each winner to confirm such conditions with the prize supplier or other relevant third parties.
22. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter at its absolute discretion.
23. If the Particulars specify a time/date by which a prize must be taken, and a winner does not take the prize by that stipulated time/date, the entire prize will be forfeited, and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
24. The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any change in the value of a prize between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
25. The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to, or delay in transit of prizes.
26. It is an offence to sell or supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 years.
27. If for any reason this Promotion cannot run as planned, including (without limitation) due to computer virus infection, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any causes beyond the Promoter’s control (such as vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, war, acts of terrorism, epidemics or pandemics, or public health orders), the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take any available action, including (without limitation) cancelling, terminating, modifying, or suspending the competition, subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
28. If the prize, or an element of the prize, is unavailable for any reason, including (without limitation) causes beyond the Promoter’s control (such as natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, war, acts of terrorism, epidemics or pandemics, or public health orders), the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated, and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
29. In consideration of the Promoter awarding the prize to the winners, each winner permits their submission, image, and/or voice, as recorded, photographed, or filmed during their participation in the prize, to appear in connection with the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate, or the goods and services of any of them, or the advertising or marketing of any of them, in any media whatsoever throughout the world, and they will not be entitled to any fee.
30. The Promoter supports responsible consumption and recommends that alcohol be enjoyed in moderation.
31. The Promoter does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australian Consumer Law) that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury sustained in connection with any prize (including, but not limited to, attendance at an event or travel undertaken during any current health warning, epidemic, or pandemic affecting the event or travel). Liability will only extend to the extent that it cannot be excluded by law.
32. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the entrant or by any equipment or programming associated with or used in this competition, or for any technical errors, including but not limited to omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communications line or network failures (telephone, mobile, or satellite), theft, destruction, or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
33. The Grounds of Alexandria is collecting the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting this competition, including determining the winners, and for communicating marketing materials. If you do not agree to this, you cannot participate in the promotion.
34. The Promoter collects information about entrants, such as their name and contact details, provided when entering the competition or using Promoter’s services. This information may also be collected from data sources, social media services, and Promoter’s affiliates. The Promoter uses this information to conduct the competition, provide goods and services, promote and improve its offerings, deliver targeted advertising based on online activities, and for purposes outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The Promoter may disclose this information to related companies, including those outside Australia, and to service and content providers, including those located outside Australia. Entrants who do not provide the requested information may not receive the competition goods and services.
