The Factory Tour

• Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before the session and check in with at our host desk.
• Tours and classes will be released approx. 5 weeks in advance. Can’t see your preferred date? Check back again closer to the time or contact us to discuss a private tour of The Factory for a group of 12x people or more.

• All visitors on this tour must stay with their guide at all times and comply with any instructions given during the visit.
• The Grounds reserves the right to amend the tour route or omit areas of the facility for reasons of visitors’ safety and well-being or for strategic business reasons.
• This is a walking tour through a working factory, so we strongly recommend that you wear comfortable closed footwear.
• For health and safety reasons, we regret that we are unable to accommodate visitors under the age of 14 years. We ask that visitors aged 14-18 years are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
• In the unlikely event that you should need to cancel this tour, please contact The Grounds at your earliest convenience. Cancellations made within 72-hours will be non-refundable.
• Should The Grounds, for reasons beyond its control, need to cancel a booking, an alternative date will be offered where possible. The Grounds cannot accept liability for any loss, financial or otherwise, under such circumstances.

Due to limited parking options in and around South Eveleigh, we encourage and recommend the use of public transport where possible.

TRAIN & METRO

• Redfern: 2 minute walk
  Direct access to the South Eveleigh precinct is available from the station’s south concourse.
• Green Square: 15 – 20 minute walk
• Waterloo: 10 minute walk
  

BUS

Buses stop regularly at Redfern station on Gibbons Street, and on nearby Henderson Road. Route updates, timetables and travel information is available on the Transport for NSW website, or real-time travel apps.

TAXI & RIDESHARE

Taxis and Rideshare (e.g. Uber, Ola, etc.) can drop off / pick up in the surrounding streets of the precinct.

ONSITE PARKING

Carpark entry is at 2 Central Avenue. Parking is free for 45 minutes, or up to 2 hours if you validate in-venue.

STREET PARKING

Please note that street parking in and around South Eveleigh is extremely limited and in most areas, timed or restricted. We strongly encourage use of public transport, or if you intend to drive, please consider using the existing onsite car park.
