The Grounds Director, Ramzey Choker, has always been passionate about helping the community and giving back to those in need. One of our favourite things to do at The Grounds is create events and experiences for our local community to enjoy, and although the rural community extends a lot further, the current drought situation in NSW is something that’s hard to ignore.
Executive Chef, Paul McGrath, creates menus that are heavily influenced by local produce, and is in regular contact with suppliers who have experienced first-hand the devastating effects of the drought.
This week, we’re donating $1 from every coffee sold, across all of our venues, to Rural Aid to support Aussie farmers in need. You’ll also see an option on our mobile app for the next few months to purchase a coffee for a farmer, with all proceeds going directly to the charity.
It’s a small gesture, but we’re glad that we can help support our Aussie farmers in anyway that we can. So help us, help them – because what’s better than enjoying a coffee that shows you really give a buck.
