From terrariums to balloon twisting, The Grounds has got lots planned to keep the little ones entertained these school holidays.
We’ll organise all of the materials – and even the cleaning up – all you need to do is sit back with a coffee and our team will take care of the rest!
Kids Classes
Terrarium Making Workshop
Tuesday, 6 April – Event Ended
The kids will love getting their hands dirty in this school holiday workshop, planting their own miniature garden with layers of pebble, soil and a succulent plant under the guidance of our team of experts.
Cookie Decorating Workshop
Thursday, 8 April – Event Ended
Using different icings and toppings, the kids will decorate three sugar cookies which they’ll get to take home at the end of the class!
Balloon Twisting Show and Workshop

Matt Falloon has been entertaining audiences and kids parties in Sydney for over a decade with his unique blend of creative balloon sculptures, balloon twisting, magic and comedy and we’re excited to welcome him to The Grounds of Alexandria for a special performance these school holidays!
Honey Making Workshop
Thursday, 15 April – EVENT ENDED
The kids will be busy little bees these school holidays as they learn how to extract honeycomb from a frame under the guidance of the expert team from Maya Sunny Honey. They’ll even get to take home a jar of the honey that they collect during class!

We’re proud to be working with Mum School to bring a range of fun classes to The Grounds of Alexandria. Designed with maternity leave Mums in mind, each workshop is a chance to get out, learn something and make some new friends!
